Korean Golf Secrets
| |
These are exciting times for Korean golf. Currently, the country of South Korea, with a modest golfing population when compared to golfing giants such as the U.S and Europe, can boast the U.S PGA Champion, the U.S Amateur Champion, the U.S Women's Open Champion, the Asian Amateur Champion and numerous other winners on the LPGA and PGA tours around the world. Steve Bann and Dale Lynch have had a long term association with Korean golfers. Both coaches have been involved in the extensive training of Korean golf coaches at their academy in Melbourne for a number of years. Steve Bann coaches PGA Tour star K.J Choi and LPGA Tour player Hee Young Park, along with a host of up and coming Korean players including 2009 KLPGA Rookie of the Year Shin Ae Ahn.
A group of about 20 Korean golfers is currently in Melbourne, Australia training at the Bann Lynch Golf school. They have been introduced to the Bann Lynch Golf training philosophies by Bann Lynch Golf's Korean born coach John Kang. At Pure Golf Training, we decided to take this opportunity to try and find some answers for questions everyone in the golf world is asking: What is the secret behind this Korean golfing boom? How is that country managing to produce so many quality players? What can golfers from the rest of the world learn from our Korean friends? We look to find the answers to these questions in this special section of PureGolfTraining.com titled: "Korean Golf Secrets".
